We're Going Home in the Morning

We're going home
In the morning,
We're going home
It won't be long

I can't afford to get my lines
tangled in these kind of times,
So I'm looking nine times
Before I make one step,
I don't want to be caught
In an unconscious state of mind,
For I want to leave this earth
In the twinkling of an eye.

We are going to slip from time into eternity,
And we are going to become
One with our Theophany,
We're going to live in that mansion
God has prepared for me,
We're going to leave
This old pest-house for eternity.

We're going to be reunited
With our loved ones
Who have gone on before
To that other dimension;
And soon we'll see Him face to face,
The One who lives inside our hearts;
Who saved us by His amazing grace,
We'll be with Him never to depart.
