Amazing Grace – v3

Amazing grace! what a sweet sound,

Which Saved a vile man like me!

I was lost, I am found,

Blind, now I see.

This grace has taught me fear,

And she took away my fears;

How precious this grace seemed

The moment I believed!

In dangers, sorrows and snares,

What I have been through;

This grace that kept me safe and sound

Will lead me to Heaven.

The Lord has promised me good,

His Word sustains me,

He will be my Shelter, my Part

As long as I have life.

After ten thousand years spent there,

Shining like the sun,

We will have more time than before

To praise our God.

When this robe of flesh falls,

My mortal life will cease;

I will possess in the hereafter

A life of joy and peace.
