Take Over

I'm a sinful man struggling for Your mercy.

Like the prodigal son, I went out on my own

I squandered my grace and the devil put me down,

but I know… who I am

I felt the touch of Jesus on my soul

I know the love and fellowship of brothers

I am coming back home Lord I surrender,

take me back to the fold.

Take over, Lord take over

I'll let go of the reins so You can lead

I'll move over, You'll take over

I realise I'm going wrong again.

I'm a loyal servant faithful in my zeal

Lord You've given me the chance to serve the Kingdom

Like Peter by faith I'm walking on the sea

But my pride keeps getting in the way

And looking back I realise that I'm sinking

I can't do this alone, the waves are getting strong

I'm holding out my hand and praying for Your Grace

Won't You take it Lord, and help me walk again.
