In the Waiting

God is too wise to ever be mistaken

God is too good to ever be unkind

God is too faithful to ever break His promise

When I can't trace His hand

I'll trust in His heart every time

In the waiting God is working

Working all things for my good

In the waiting I will worship

'Til the breakthrough comes

So don't fear my soul be still and know

He's always in control

God is too strong I've never seen Him shaken

God is too big He'll never fear the fight

God is too truthful He'll never be dishonest

If He gave me His word

That's all that I need through the night

In meadows of green or shadows of death
