A New Dawn

The darkest hour of the night,
Is just before the dawn;
This is when the morning breaks,
And a new day is born;
Immense darkness is upon the church,
Where apostasy has overcome;
This is why, my God has raised the people
With all His power and His virtues.

A new dawn will come:
A special wedding there will be,
Where Christ and His Bride shall unite.
Lord, I want to be there
To tell You, "I do,"
And to live eternally with You.
Lord, I want to be there
To tell You, "I do."
And to live eternally with You.

Who is this that appears like the dawn?
He is so beautiful as the moon
and shining as the sun.
Oh! It’s the Bride who's emerging like a lily
From the muck of this world,
where confusion reigns.
She goes to meet her Beloved;
Her dress is of fine linen:
Dressed in His Word
To this wedding that is only
for the redeemed,
Who was purchased by the Blood of the Lord.

Lord, I want to be there
To tell you, "I do,"
And to live eternally with You
I believe…
