Teaching me

Her pleasure-driven ways

Have some fun,

Forget about tomorrow

Live today

Her music and her passion,

Hollywood and fashion

Stimulate the flesh

Just like wine

And all the while she pulls

Us all away from

Everything divine

But, I have heard a voice

Calling me out of Babylon

To a higher place

There's a mountain

I can live upon

And I have made a choice

Jesus is my joy and liberty

Babylon will never,

Never have its hold on me.

Mystery reaches further

to the soul

Put religion on,

Never let the spirit have control

She stands against revival

The Truth witihn the Bible

Binding hungry hearts

With chains of fear

Somehow makes

Confusion of the Word

That God has made so clear.
