Do You Really Know Him

You say you met Him years ago,

And oh the joy that flooded your soul;

But what of today,

When did you last take time to pray,

Seek His face in that secret place,

He is here to meet with you;

Now will you meet with Him?

Do you really know Him

in a personal way?

When on the shores of glory,

what will you hear Him say?

"Enter in thou good and faithful son,"

Or will He turn you away?

Do you really know Him

in a personal way?

Many will come on that day and say,

"Have we not done many

wonderful things in your name,

Cast out devils, raised the dead,

healed the sick,

The hungry are fed?"

But He'll say,

"Depart from Me, I never knew you."
