Footsteps Of The Son of Man

Called me in a journey,

To another land;

So I left the life I knew before,

And all my future plans;

And I place my fate completely

in His hands.

The way ahead seemed narrow,

I felt the urge to just stay;

But He said that, "I'll be with you,

even in you day by day,"

So I'll follow

in His footprints all the way.

He's leading me,

I have a faithful friend,

I know that He

will take me to the end;

Sometimes I can't see clearly,

My feet they might grow weary;

But I'll follow

the predestinated plan,

In the footsteps (in the footsteps)

Of the Son of Man.

Along this trail of trials,

I'm walking in the night;

But the place that He's prepared

for me is coming into sight,

And just over the horizon,

Eternal Light.
