God Made Me A Winner
God made me a winner,
I'm an overcomer
Free from the law of sin and death, I am
I've been redeemed
By the blood of the Lamb
Satan no longer tramples on me,
I've been given authority,
Through what took place at Calvary
God made me a winner!
Romans 8: 37 tells me,
The scripture was written there just for me
My status is in Galatians 3: 13
In John 1 and 12, I'm a child of the King.
Isaiah 53: 5 says I'm healed,
Ephesians 4: 30 says I've been sealed
No one can take from me
What God has revealed.
God made me a winner!
Got no time for mediocrity
No time for ruling into self-pity,
I spend each day
Just praising the Lord, you see
Thanking Him for the Word He's given me
No need for feeling down in doubt
I don't accept all fear and doubt
I believe God's word,
I confess it out loud
