I AM

There's never been

a better time for us

To find out all the truth

for our age and where we are;

There's so many who depend

on what He's done

or what He'll do,

I want to know

what God is doing now.

Not I was, not I will be, but I am,

To what God's promised for today

I'll say "Amen."

And He's a living God

and has a present plan,

Cause He's not I was,

not I will be, but I am.

I love to think about

the future home of the earthly Bride,

But as for now what did He say?

And I can't live on some old mannah,

From all the ages that's gone by;

I've got to know what God

has promised for today.
