I Could Never Tell

It could be just as easy to count
Every grain of sand on every shore
Give a name to every star
Between here and heaven's door
I could tell you
How a seed, planted in a ground,
could make a tree
Much easier than I could tell you
All the blessings He has given me

I could never tell all the good things
He has done
But if I try, I'll start by saying,
First of all He sent His son
He blessed my life with happiness
And He has given me so much more
And besides all these,
At the end, I'll step on heaven's shore

If you ask me why the lightening
flashes accross the sky
Oh, why the sun shines through the day
And darkness falls at evening time
Maybe I could give an answer
to you that would satisfy
But if you ask me why He loved me,
I could never tell you the reason why

Maybe I could give an answer
If you ask me why the lightening
flashes accross the sky
But if you ask me why He loved me,
I could never tell you the reason why
