I Remember the Joy

Where were you Job
When the sons of God
shouted for joy
And the morning stars sang
Their happy song
Do you recall at all
Before the world was formed
The feeling of being home
where you belong

Well, I'm sure Job
must have wondered
How we've forgotten such a day
But with the Father's
sweet reminder
His soul began to say

I remember the joy
I remember the peace
I remember the worship there
Oh, what a sweet release
I remember the love
I was in the mind of God
I remember, someway somehow
It's all coming back to me now

What is it here
where we live our lives
When we accepted Christ
That makes his children
feel so set apart
Why is it so, here below
Just don't feel at home, no
Like Someone somewhere else
Still holds our hearts

Well, there is a higher calling
To where a Bride
will take her flight
And there ain't no way
I'm gonna miss it
Because His memory
serves me right

It's all coming back to me…
