Beyond this flesh

That you can see now

Beyond the weaknesses

Of this flesh

There is a connection invisible

With Jesus Christ

I don't know how,

I don't know why

I cannot explain the love

Of God for my soul

But down inside of me,

When I hear the Word

My heart says amen…

I say, Amen!

Beyond this flesh

That you can see now

Beyond the weaknesses

Of this flesh

There is a connection invisible

On the other side

Now, He has said I will be perfect

With the virtues

Of Jesus Christ Himself

But I look around

I see so much imperfections

Shown to me by

The devil my enemy

Trying to keep me sad and depressed

But I stand right up on my two feet

I look at Him straight in the eye…

And I say…

Now, He has said

I will be raptured

And fly away in the sky

And discover this seventh dimension

But I can feel the force of gravity

Trying to keep me down in to this earth

And get me stuck in this realm

But I stand right up on my two feet

Lift my hands challenging gravity

And I say…

Beyond this flesh

That you can see now

Beyond the weaknesses

Of this flesh

There is a connection invisible

With the other side

To my glorious body, I say Amen

Amen to my theophany, I say Amen

One day I will be gone, I say Amen

I say Amen!
