Just Because

You ask me why I love the Lord,

Why He means so much to me,

Why He’s there between each breath

of life that I breathe?

Oh I’ve tried to count the reasons

There’s far too many to recall

So I guess you could say I love the Lord

Just because…

And I don’t love Him

Just because He first loved me

And I don’t love Him

Just because of Calvary

For there’s at least a million reasons

I start to count and then I paused to realize

I really love Him just because

Not just for the loaves and fishes

Not just for cleansing from my sins

Not just for the signs and wonders

Do I follow after Him

It makes no difference if He blesses me

It matters not just what befall

For I'll love Him till forever just because…
