Looking More Like Your Father
  I will cherish the day
  He took my burdens away,
  And I can say that I was born again;
  I've seen the Word of the Hour,
  I felt His glory and power,
  As He took away my sin and shame.

  But I was just a little babe
  that the Father had made,
  So He fed me and I started to grow;
  I find it's not so strange
  when I began to change,
  And all around
  they started letting me know.

  You're lookin' more
  like your Father, everyday,
  There's sure a family resemblance,
  on your face.
  I can see it in the way you're living,
  I can hear it in the things you say;
  You're lookin' more
  like your Father everyday.

  When you're lookin' at me,
  tell me what do you see?
  There's an image
  that I wanna display,
  Is it the Word of Life,
  the very nature of Christ?
  Do you hear Him in the things I say?

  He said, "The works that I do
  will be the same ones in you."
  So I'm believing
  that I'm one of His own.
  As I look in His mirror,
  it is becoming so clear,
  That in His likeness
  I have certainly grown.
