Still Small Voice
We've heard Elijah on the mount
Ran from the wrath of Jezebel,
But God came down to visit him
And caused his heart to swell;
In a wind, earthquake and fire,
God came to him by choice,
But he bowed his head in reverence
To the still small voice.
I thank the Lord for coming today
in a still small voice,
Raise your hands my brother and sister,
Let's stand and rejoice.
Overlook the wind, the thunder and fire
And wait on the Lord,
Let's put our faith in the glorious grace
Of His still, small voice.
This world has been conditioned
To think the power of the Lord,
Only comes through great convictions
With miracles galore;
But in this age of mixed emotions,
There's a Word that's being voiced,
Not in the miracles, signs and wonders,
But in a still small voice.
