Taking My Place

So many people in this life

Are filled with pain and strife,

Wondering just

what the future holds for them;

But, there's no doubt in this mind,

In my brand new home I'll find.

I'm takin' my place over Jordan wide,

I'm takin' my place on the other side;

Takin' my place on the other shore,

Where we'll live forevermore;

Yeah, when I reach eternity

There'll be a placed prepared for me;

It's only by His amazing grace

that I'll be takin' my place.

It may be in the sacred choir,

Praising God is my desire,

I'll worship Him forever and a day;

And how I'll know I'm in that place

Is by the smile on His face,

When he holds me

in His lovin' arm of grace.
