The Resurrection Morning

I'm looking for a day,
a bright & cloudless morning,
When the pain of sin and
death shall pass away;
And if I look into the mirror,
I may see a new reflection,
And I'll know that it's the breaking
of that great resurrection morning
With a body glorified around
me forming.

On that resurrection morning
bright & fair,
the saints shall come together
and declare
That all the ones Christ died to save
will surely rise up from the grave,
And together we'll meet Jesus
in the air.
On this resurrection morning
no more strife,
Just peace and joy forever
-Eternal Life.
And before that time we may
be tossed and torn,
But we'll be caught up from the
raging storm-on that resurrection morn.

And if I leave this world before you,
and I cross that crystal tide,
and be numbered with the ones
in Christ awaiting.
Just remember on that day I'll take
a body in perfection,
And I'll stand before you, shining,
and you'll know the resurrection is at hand.
And like a thought we'll be translated
to that promised land.
