There He Is (Standing by His Side)

Take a look down through the ages

Through the corridors of time,

And as I look,

I see my God standing by His Bride;

Through torture, death, good times and bad,

He was there right in the midst;

And with every trial you're going through

You can conquer, because right beside you

There He is.

There He is standing right beside His little Bride,

Meeting all Her needs She has inside;

And when this world

and all Her friends reject Her,

He will still be there,

Faithful to His Word She has to bear.

And whatever She may do through all Her trials,

He will see Her through.

And I always love to see how a husband treat His wife,

How He cares for Her and treats Her well

No matter what the price;

Oh, but going far beyond that love,

God cares for His Own.

So if you think you're all by yourself,

Just remember you're not standing all alone.

And whatever that Bride may do,

Through all Her trials He will see Her through,

And whatever She may do, through all Her trials,

He will see Her through.
