This Is My Time

This is my time,

this is the end time,

I can't think of any better day

that I'd rather live;

Gonna let the world know,

won't wait for tomorrow,

I'm gonna let my little light shine,

'Cause this is my time.

I think of all the saints

who've gone before,

They lived and testified

about the Lord;

They had their chance

to do their part,

To serve the Lord

with all their heart;

Now the time is ours

to hold the sword.

To be there watching

Moses part the sea,

To stand and fight

with David's army;

I'd love to live in Jesus' day,

But if I had to choose my way,

This is sure the time

that I would be.

I'm gonna preach the Word

and work while it is day,

I'm gonna say the things

that He would have me say;

I'm gonna shine the light

in my family,

I'm gonna lift Him up

for all the world to see,

See Him down in me.
