You Always Answer Me

Many times she called out to you

Son of David hear my plea

I'm unworthy of a children's bread

But you still met her need

Like her I'm unworthy

But I heard you call me child

So by faith I will wait on you

And know that all the while

You always answer me

Right in my hour of need

Not always how I think you should

But always for my good

You always answer me

It seemed the heaven were unopened

When I called upon your name

Even so come quickly lord

In earnest hope I pray

But my lowly expectations for your plans

Were no match

Though broken when you finally came

You gave more than I ask

How I know you will

Is that you have always been

true to your word

You always heard

And lift this willing one

Be it unto me according to thy word

According to thy way thy will be done

Not always how I think You should

Not always when I want it

But right when I need it

You're an on time God

And I thankful for it

You always answer me
