You're My Absolute

I wandered around

from pillar to post,

Searching for strength

and stability;

Neglecting the thing

that I needed most,

A solid foundation

of Christ in me;

Crying, I poured my heart

to You, Lord,

You gave me assurance,

You gave me a Sword;

Now there's no question,

there is no doubt,

I know that I know what You're

all about.

You're my absolute,

You're my strong and mighty hold,

You're the Rock through all the ages,

You're the One I now behold;

You're my absolute,

I place my life into Your hands,

And I know that You will lead me,

Safely to the promised land.

Never before have I felt

such love,

Never before have I seen

Your pow'r;

A life-changing work

You have done in my life,

Transforming my very

heart's desire;

You are my Savior,

Redeemer and Friend,

I'll never turn back

to this world again;

Abundance of mercy,

and grace you bestow,

There's one thing I want

this whole world to know.
