Day of visitation

I’ve read about the fishermen

Who left their nets to follow him

And nothing was greater than

When Christ called their names

I’ve read about Mary Magdalene

And Oh how that story touched me

When the Lord visited her

Then her life was transformed

I've read of Zachaeus meeting

Jesus, the Son of God His life was changed

And then he made right all that was wrong

I've read of a man of the Gaderenes

Possessed by a legion of demons

But the Lord delivered him with great

Authority and he was set free

This is the day of visitation

Though you may feel so unforgiven

God loves the insignificant

He can cleanse, renew

And restore you to perfection

Rejoice and accept His invitation

Call on Him, He has made a way for you

This is the day of visitation

The Lord Himself now dwells amongst us

So nothing is impossible

Oh you who were bound in sin

If you can recognize His voice within

Today is the day of complete redemption

Now we know

God's tremendous miracles

That has been displayed

As a sign of His visitation

Yes we are the children of Abraham

And we are walking in the faith

For we stand in confidence

Believing that God is with us

Knowing He is the same

Yesterday, today, and forever

Let us worship our God right now
