I'm gonna be gone

This old world ain't getting better, everyday it's getting worse

So much fighting and confusion going on down here on earth

But I won't let it bother me cause I'm not here to stay.

The lord is going to call me home and I'll be called away.

Were gonna be gone in the twinkling of an eye

Were gonna be gone won't have time to say goodbye

Maybe, morning, night, or noon.

For I know it can't be too soon.

For I know, I know, I'm gonna be gone.

It could be just any morning,

It could be at night or noon,

I don't know just when He's coming,

But I know He's coming soon.

I can say with calm assurance,

This old world is not my home,

One day your going to look for me,

But I'll be called away.
