In The Middle Of The Winter

In the middle of the winter I can hear the sounds of spring

Though the dark cold winter seems so long,

Ah, I know the sun is shining though the clouds are all I see

And I wonder how long it will be?

Reflected in the ocean is the glimmer of the dawn

And I know that day is drawing near,

I can feel the warmth of sunlight though the storms rage all around

And I wonder could it be now?

I will lift my eyes, I will look to the sky

Soon He will come, Jesus, my Savior!

For the time is near, the signs are clearly all around us,

He's coming soon!

As I see the world around me, I can tell it won't be long

For I know the time is drawing near

All around us there is hunger, all you hear about is war

And you wonder can we take anymore?
