The final word
I've heard its just a fable
Some old stories handed down
And the bible has no meaning for today
But it was there within those pages
That I met the rock of ages
And ever since He changed my heart, I say
From Genesis to Revelation, every word of God is true
A light to every generation tried and tested through and through
The hope of all who died believing
The greatest story ever heard
The Holy Bible still remains the final word
The greatest volumes written
Don't contain the kind of power
I discover when I read God's word to me
It's my answer for each question
And my fears are laid to rest
On this precious book that says what I believe
I will live my life to honor every word
And I will lay it down for every chapter, every verse
The hope of all who died believing
The greatest story ever heard
