When I have no one

I've lived my life as others have done

I've had some friends and I've had loved ones

As the way of life goes, some have come and gone

But here in my heart, I am not alone

See, I have this friend, one others can't see

He walks with me and how He loves me

So no matter what comes, what I have to bear

I've strength to go on for He's always there

When I have no one, I still have someone

When I have no hope, I still have one hope

When heartaches sets in, I still have one friend

Who let's me know, I am not alone

For when I have no one, I still have someone

When sorrow still comes and pain lingers on

God holds me close for He's that someone

And when my spirits low, by His grace He shows

I'm never alone when there's one who knows
