I'm Anchored To The Solid Rock

With all the trouble around me,

how discouraged I could be,

yet in my heart there's a deep settled peace

I have no fear of what may be,

my Father's promise is holding me

I have an anchor that's steadfast and true!

I have an anchor in my life,

holding to the solid rock.

A strong assurance that He gave me

and I can not be lost.

Let the storm on the water of this life dash about,

I'm anchored to the solid rock

And will my soul be satisfied,

when in His likeness I'll abide

And with my loved ones I'll feel so at home

They too were tested and they were tried,

yet on His promise they rely

They had an anchor that's steadfast and true!
