For This Cause – v2

For this cause I came

For this purpose I was born

That I will manifest the life of the living God

It's not my will but thine oh Lord

So I lay it all on the altar

That my life may be a sacrifice

Offered unto thee

I was born to declare your life

And reason of your death,

Here I am to pay the price

Fully surrendering to your will

I only want dear Lord to declare your victory,

I only want dear Lord

To be surrendered unto thee.

In this age we see

Through the opening of the word,

That we must overcome all life's challenges,

The pride of life, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes,

And stand to manifest the life of Jesus Christ.

Lord you say unto your Prophet

Be more sincere

He spoke and did create with word

Let there be

All of these great things that you did in this life

I will see in its fullness as

Your life unfolds in mine.
