Hari hampir habis, Maut pun dekat.

Upah dosa tiba,

Hidup'kan terjerat.

Lalu suatu hari,

Ku lihat Yesus,

Datanglah Ia panggil, Sebelum terlambat.

Ku t'lah lahir baru, Lahir di Kalvari.

Ku lahir baru,

Masuk K'raja'n Allah.

Duluku menuju maut,

Kini Surga menyambut.

Karena darahNya,

Ku lahir baru.

Ku sedang mendrita,

Menuju ajal,

Suara Kristus bujuk, T'rima hidup kekal.

TanganNya berlubang, DarahNya cucur.

Kasih-Nya yang besar, Buat ku tersungkur.

Duluku menuju maut,

Kini Surga menyambut.

Karena darahNya,

Ku lahir baru.

Death was all around me.

Day was fading fast.

Sin had paid its wages,

And life would soon be past.

Then I saw the Savior,

Through a narrow gate,

Calling Enter quickly,

Before it is too late. ?

Now I am born again,

Born through Calvary's blood.

Now I'm born again,

To God's kingdom above.

Though I was once a child of death,

Now I'm breathing heaven's

Breath Praise the Lord!

Through His blood I am born again.

Dying in the shadows,

Suff'ring in the night,

I could hear Christ pleading,

Receive my gift of life.

In His hands were nailscars;

Blood was flowing free.

As I knelt before Him,

His love flowed down to me.

Though I was once a child of death,

Now I'm breathing heaven's

Breath Praise the Lord!
