I Know God Has a Mountain Top for Me

The journey's been so long and weary

And my strength seems gone.

But in the valley it takes more travel,

By Grace I'm goin' on.

For by Faith there is a place than I can almost see,

I know God has a Mountain-top for me.

Though I've gone through the valley low,

And Climbed the mountain high

I've been through the rivers deep,

Came through the swelling tide

I know there is a resting place,

A land of joy and peace

But I know God has a Mountain-top for me.

I have wept bitter tears,

Thought night would never end.

Had nothing left to hold onto,

Except my Faith within.

The adversary promised

I'd go down in defeat, but all along

God has a Mountain-top for me.
