Jesus Is Coming

One day Jesus will come again

Just as He promised, amen

No one knows the day or hour

But He will come with mighty power

The trumpet of God will sound that day

The Lord will come just as He said

The dead in Christ will rise first

Then those alive will be caught up

Jesus is coming, Jesus is near

Lift up your eyes, do not fear

The trumpet will sound, the dead will rise

And we will meet Jesus in the sky

The Bible says it will happen suddenly

Like a thief comes unexpectedly

Two may be working side by side

Those who belong to Christ will rise

The world may carry on that day

But Jesus will come and take His own

Those who believe will hear His call

And they will be with Him forevermore

So watch and pray, don't fall asleep

Hold on to Jesus, His promise is sure

We don't know when He will appear

But we know He is coming again

Don't wait for tomorrow, walk with Jesus every day

Keep your heart in the light and be ready for His return

Jesus is coming, Jesus is near

The King will appear, His promise is clear

The dead in Christ will rise from the ground

And living believers will hear the sound

Caught up together, we'll meet Him above

Forever with Jesus, forever in love

What a glorious day it will be

When our Savior comes for you and me

We don't know the day, we don't know the hour

But Jesus is coming with glory and power
